At Wallace Cotton, our beautiful bed linens are made with environmental sustainability in mind. We look to OEKO-TEX certified suppliers for our organic cotton. We source products from an independent sheeting mill in South India where they recycle their manufacturing water and have built a school on-site, so families of spinners, weavers, dyers and seamstresses can live and work in the same village. We select all our manufacturing partners carefully to ensure that they meet up to our ethical standards and value exceptional craftsmanship. We regularly visit our partners to share ideas and thoughts on design and development, and everybody is involved in making sure our bed linens, sheets, duvet cover sets, and every other product is produced with quality prioritised. Choosing pure organic bed linen fabrics has a major positive impact on your health and the health of our planet. Organic cotton growing systems replenish and maintain soil fertility and build biologically diverse agriculture.  Crops aren’t treated with pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and Genetically Modified Organisms. These toxins are harmful for farmers and workers, us as consumers, and entire wildlife eco-systems. Sensitive skin and allergy sensitive people can even feel the harmful effects of non-organic cottons and fabrics in their daily lives. Irritated skin, rashes and even headaches and dizziness can be caused by the chemical residue trapped in the threads. It is a journey for us, as it is for many other businesses. Our priority is to ensure that our customers are getting a quality product that meets their aspirations for their own lives, whether it is with organic cotton, third-party eco-certification like OEKO-TEX, or with one of our exclusive prints or the luxury feel of quality cotton or linen. Most of all, we don’t want our customers to have to compromise on either.
